Day 1 Galle / Yala
Departure from the hotel early in the morning, around 6.00 am . You should order breakfast packages in the evening at the reception and take them with you on the trip ( free of charge ). We go south to the park in Yala. After arrival in Yala (transfer time approx. 4-5 hours – during the transfer you can see the 17th century fort in Galle – defensive bastions, a Dutch church from 1755, a Dutch prison behind the walk, a town within the fort, turtle hatcheries , remains of tsunami, Tsunami Buddha statue, wonderful beaches in the south of the island) lunch at a restaurant.
After lunch , pick-up in 4-wheel drive vehicles , safari in Yala National Park (Ruhunu National Park). In Yala you can see elephants , wild boars, roe deer, deer, monkeys (macaques and greylangers), hares, peacocks, storks, herons, bee-eaters, kingfishers, parrots, hornbills, pythons, cobras, but the main attraction are leopards, which can usually be seen before sunset. We drive around the park in an open 4-wheel drive car (usually a simple jeep) with a driver. The safari lasts approximately 3 hours and ends at approximately 6 p.m. after sunset. After the safari, transfer by jeep to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Yala
Day 2 Nuwara Elliya / Kandy
The next day we go to Nuwara Elliya, a mountainous region considered to be the most beautiful in Sri Lanka. On the way we visit tea plantations, a tea factory (visit and tasting of unblended BOP tea), waterfalls, Hindu temples, Victorian architecture, a visit to the town of Nuwara Elliya, the famous Baal Bazaar where you can buy branded sweatshirts, T-shirts, coats (or their fakes) at surprisingly low prices , Grand Hotel, golf course, Hill Club, horse racing track, Gregory””s Lake. We will be at an altitude of about 1800 m above sea level. Sometimes it can be cold, you should take warmer clothes with you just in case.
From Nuwara Elliya we go to the former capital of Sri Lanka (lunch on the way), Kandy, where we will visit the Temple of the Tooth of the Buddha ( shoulders and knees should be covered) and hour-long shows of folk dances, acrobatics, juggling, dancing with ghosts, walking on glowing coals. In the evening, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Peradeniya / Pinnawela
The next day, departure from the hotel after breakfast, sightseeing in Kandy (panoramic), visit to the grinding plant of precious and semi-precious stones – there are many different types of gemstones in Sri Lanka, including sapphires and alexandrites. Visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya.
On the way to the hotel on the beach, visit the Ayurvedic Gardens (with a demonstration Ayurvedic massage) and the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, where, depending on the time, we will see baby elephants being fed with a milk bottle or elephants bathing by the river.
In the area of Pinnawela there is the possibility of riding elephants (various programs, with bathing with an elephant, showering from an elephant’s trunk, washing an elephant ). Lunch. In the evening return to the hotel on the beach.
